Video on Hindus in Peshawar, Pakistan

This is a really interesting video.  It's only one person being interviewed, but even from that vantage point, it's really interesting.  The images of prayer are arresting.

Really interesting video.

Really interesting video. What struck me most was that Ramlal didn't look identifiably Hindu and when he reffered to god kept saying "allah tala" instead of "bhagwan".  I don't know if that was natural for him because of the culture he grew up in or if he was doing it deliberately, but it was interesting.  I was also struck by how the other worshippers didn't look any different from the rest of Peshawar's population. It's heartening to see that even in today's Pakistan these people can survive.

Anyway, I do agree that it's heartening that minorities of all sorts somehow manage to survive and in some cases thrive.  I don't fully understand what the conditions are that allows that to happen sometimes but not others.

I just meant that the way he

I just meant that the way he and all the other people were dressed wasn't identifiably different from the way Peshwari muslims would dress. He was even wearing what I've always thought of as an Islamic prayer cap. I know it is a funny question:)
