and by this I mean both political and military institutions and civil society in both countries. If you go to war, you lose. If you have any vested interest in your country, then stop what you are doing right now, move away from brinksmanship, and let the rest of us, not to mention the people you allegedly represent and care about, live in peace. Trust me, as an American, when I say that you have nothing to gain from the (further) militarization of your states and region in the medium or long terms. Unless you consider increasing the prospects of World War I, the nuclear edition, and solidifying your places in that context as a "gain." Whatever happens from this point on will make what happened Mumbai pale in comparison if you don't act with a modicum of wisdom and grace (i.e. statesmanship). Kthxbye. Happy Holidays.

Huh. Why and by how much is the Chinese/Pakistani nuclear threat of 2008 worse than the American nuclear threat of 1971.
Hallelujah!

How wrong and ignorant.
Let me know when you sign up to fight in the frontlines, and I'll start taking your jingoistic bullshit seriously. I used to be an idiot too - it's reversible.
How wrong and ignorant.
How wrong and ignorant. Pakistan - country founded upon the doctrine that Muslims must if not as a global all-powerful community of hegemons live within a nation-state as a majority or else if a minority live under their own dispensation; and India an ancient nation, now a nation-state, with its timeless Hindu ethos that hosts every shade of opinion and belief, and follows the Hindu dictum that the only thing you need in common is to be able to disagree. So what does Pakistan work at since its founding? The undermining of India and its ultimate destruction. DA, get this right. And India should be militarily and economically strong, about 50-100 times better than it is today, not to compete with Pakistan, but to keep off the eyes of its other sworn enemey to the Northeast - a nuclear power that has once attacked it. So get this right, war will work for India and is the only thing that will end the menace of jihadism - the epicenter of which is Pakistan.
India's double
India's double standards
While India blames Pakistan for inaction after Mumbai's terror attacks, it turns a blind eye to a dangerous terror organisation
"There should be no double standards in the global fight against terrorism," the Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh declared last week. The message was intended for Pakistan, but if Dr Singh is concerned about double standards, he should look closer to home.

"I am cured," among the common lines uttered by addlepated idiots. You will have to learn to read, understand, and write sense, and stop prattling, before you can be admitted to the ranks of the competent. At your current level of intelligence you are somewhere at the level of mud, slick and slime. You should stop scouring garbage cans for your prose. It stinks! Not that you would know.
This is the time Indians and
This is the time Indians and Pakistanis should realize their blood. Look into the self than look into the others for the wrong happened to them.
Here in Japan, Indians and Pakistanis are considered and judged at the same ground. Both are brothers, unfortunately fighting due to a minor variation in the human made establishment-religion. When both of you stop fighting, don't forget to look back to see what is left with.....
This trend of Indians and
This trend of Indians and Pakistanis getting along in the diaspora is one I have seen/heard about a lot in many countries. I'm curious how far below the surface it extends (I would imagine somewhat, but not all the way). But I'm more curious what it's like to live as a desi of any sort in Japan!
