Follow Up: Attack Pandi Out on Bail After Re-Establishing Reputation

By: vivek on 14 Feb 2008

Those of you curious about the fate of Attack Pandi, antagonist in a previous post, need look no further.

Several months after his arrest, Attack Pandi and his gang assaulted Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam propaganda secretary Nanjil Sampath for having sullied the name of Fearless Leader. No, Attack Pandi hadn't been released. Yes, the attack took place in jail.

Bad career move?

Of course not.

Less than a month later:

Five persons accused in the ‘Dinakaran’ newspaper attack case, including ‘Attack’ Pandi, were granted conditional bail by the Principal District and Sessions court here on Friday (The Hindu).

Justice vazhga/zindabad.
